Your company's data is isolated
Every record is tagged with your organization, and isolation is enforced by the database itself — Postgres Row Level Security — not by application settings that could be misconfigured. Another company can never query your data, under any circumstance.

Inspection photos are private
Originals and the examiner's annotated copies live in a private, encrypted storage bucket. No photo has a public URL — every view requires a signed, short-lived link issued to an authenticated member of your organization.

Every action is on the record
Photo capture, findings, assignments, closures, and views are written to a tamper-evident audit log: who, when, and from what device. Entries are append-only and hash-chained — no user, including admins, can alter or delete them. Built for MSHA dispute defense.

Your inspection photos stay in your storage
Inspection photos are never sent to Anthropic or to any other third party. Strat, the assistant on Stratum+, sees a photo only when an administrator or manager takes or adds one in a Strat conversation. Those go to Anthropic's commercial Claude API, which never uses them to train AI models and deletes inputs and outputs within 7 days.

You own your data
Export your complete data set at any time from the Reporting page — printable PDF reports, CSV, and a full JSON export of every record your organization can see. Request deletion of all your data and it will be confirmed within 30 days.
If you cancel your subscription, nothing is deleted for 90 days, so you always have time to export first. Stratum never sells, shares, or discloses customer data to any third party.

This section summarizes commitments detailed in the Stratum Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. The terms are an interim version published so there is something stated rather than nothing; they have not yet been through legal review, and the sections still open are marked as such on the page.
Delete my account
This permanently removes your personal information from Stratum and closes your sign-in. It cannot be undone.
Deleting your account here does the same thing as deleting it in the mobile app. You do not need to install the app to remove your data.

Inspection records belong to your organization, not to you personally, and MSHA recordkeeping requires them to be retained after an inspector leaves. Signatures already given stay on the documents they signed — that is what makes them a record.

You are the only admin of this organization. Choose who takes over — the organization cannot be left without an admin.
